Introduction to Forbes AAC
Introductory
New to AAC? Take this free course for ASHA CEUs. Participants will learn about the speech-generating devices (SGDs), hardware and software, environmental control units (ECUs), and alternate access methods that are available for AAC users through Forbes AAC. Participants will learn about when to recommend these systems to meet the different communication needs for AAC users across the lifespan. Participants will learn about the available language systems, both symbol-based and text-based, for AAC users of all ages and abilities.
